Anti-clockwise loop.
This is a Road Bike route to Masca to discover the Teno Mountains. Masca is a small mountain village approximately 650 metres above sea level in the northwest of Tenerife at the foot of the Teno Mountains. The natural beauty of Masca and the scenery on the way is breathtaking. Masca is considered to be one of the most picturesque parts of Tenerife. This is the anti-clockwise loop where you ride towards Buenavista de Norte first before you start the 25kms of climbing up the Teno Mountains towards Masca and Santiago del Teide. The 20kms descent into Icod de los Vinos on our way back home will be a bliss. You can see the clockwise loop on a different route.
