Cala D Or to Ermita de Betlem

Majorca, departing from Cala D Or Road Hard

A hard 147 kms ride with loads of small climbs from Cala D'or to the north of the island, all the way up towards the Ermita de Betlem monestary, the highest elevation of the day just over 375 metres above sea level with a 5% average gradient. The Road will take you north towards Felanitx and then Porreres before you reach the town of Manacor, the 2nd largest town, after the capital of Palma. After you bypass Manacor cycle towards the picturesque town of Arta and then climb towards Ermita de Betlem monestary. A beautiful and peaceful place with amazing views down to the coast. Enjoy the views and take a few pictures. After your short break cycle back to Arta and take the MA-12 towards Can Picafort. Before Can Picafort turn left towards the small rural town of Petra, which lies in the middle of Majorca, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Petra is a great place to stop for a quick refreshing drink. Follow signs for Felaitx and Cala D'Or on your way back to the hotel.
