This is probably the most spectacular climb in the area. This is the old road from the coast to Granada city, also known as The Goat's Path. The segment starts from the coastal town of Almunecar and carries on north on the A-4050 all the way to the top. Part of the stage 4 La Vuelta 2018 Climbing Alto De la Cabra is an HC climb. The climb averages a gradient of 5%, with some short downhills and flat sections scattered throughout the climb for a short recovery.
