Sant Salvador de Felanitx

Majorca, Spain Road

San Salvador is one of the hardest climbs in the east of the island. It is 5km long but the gradients is mostly 7%. The road surface is in good condition throughout perfect for a road bike and it's not a busy road.

San Salvador climb begins straight after you turn from MA-4010 into MA-4011. San Salvador is clearly signed posted and you can spot it from miles away. This climb as many other in Majorca, is characterised by numerous sharp hairpin turns. The view from the top on a good day is superb and certainly makes the climb worthwhile. At the top, inside the monastery, there is also a small display with some old cycling world champion jerseys.
