Coll d'Honor from South

Majorca, Spain Road

It starts after Bunyola, just off 'Sa placa' at the centre of the village, following the MA-2100 towards Orient. On the outskirts of Bunyola as you start climbing you will see the typical brown sign indicating the start of the climb. There is another one at the top of the climb indicating the top of Coll d'Honor. It's a long climb, and the road surface isn't as good as the Coll De Orient climb. The gradient stays above 5% most of the time and reaches 10% on a few occasions, but it will be no trouble to an experienced cyclist.

Its a pleasant climb through a woodland area and after you reach the top there is small technical descent with sharp hairpins, towards the village of Orient. In July and August it can be very hot, but much of the climb is in shade and the traffic is not that bad throughout the year. The hairpins near the top are very tight, so be cautious.
