Coll dels Reis from Sa Calobra

Majorca, Spain Road

Coll dels Reis is one of the most popular climbs in Majorca. It is a cat 1 climb starting at sea level from Sa Calobra. Ouch!! With 668m of elevation, over 9.44km of steady climbing and an average gradient of 7%, Coll dels Reis is not one for the faint-hearted.

The climb begins at sea level from the small port of Sa Calobra, all the way up to Coll Dels Reis. It is one of the most spectacular climbs in Majorca. The challenge is that in order to climb this segment you will first have to descend it as there is no other way of getting to the start of it. Depending on the route you choose to reach this point you will have to climb Puig Major, Col de Soller from the south or Coll de sa Batalla, Col de Femenia from the north and then the Sa Calobra (See Sa Calobra from south segment) climb from the MA-10 junction.

This segment is available all through the year but in the summer it can get a little bit busy.
