Broadfield Hill Saundersfoot

Tenby, Wales Road

Broadfield Hill, known as the "heartbreak hill", is a long climb and the incline varies with the highest of approximately 12% gradient. It is a long climb so keep it together and don’t try to power up the hill too quickly. You will be able to stay seated for the majority of it. As you riding up the hill, you will pass the well known St. Brides Hotel & Spa, and I’m sure at this point you will all be thinking the same...

This steep section is used as a hill time trial for the Long Course Weekend event and it is absolutely packed with spectators. It’s very steep to start with but the climb eases out later with just another small steep section towards the end, but when you reach the top of this climb you will have a nice long downhill back into Tenby.
